Webinar Instructions

If you participate in the below instructions, a certificate of attendance will be emailed to you within 30 days of the completion of the event.

This is a live-streaming event; therefore, you must be present to receive credit. CLE credit requires ONE attorney per computer so that attendance can be tracked and verified.

UMKC School of Law is utilizing Zoom for this live-streaming event. Please visit https://zoom.us/test to test your connection and browser’s compatibility. If you receive an error, please follow the instructions as suggested. If you need assistance at any point in the process, please contact our office at 816.235.1648 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

There are things you must do a bit differently with webcast CLEs in order to receive credit for watching and participating in this seminar.

  • Using the link above, you will be prompted to the webinar log-in page to provide your contact information (first and last name, email address) and KS bar numbers.
*Please be sure to enter your Kansas Supreme Court number and we will report your participation directly to Kansas.
  • Before the presentation begins you will see: “waiting for the host to start this webinar”. Once the host is ready, live streaming will start automatically. We usually start the live streaming several minutes before the start time of the program.
  • During the course of the presentation, you will be asked to respond to poll questions. Answering the poll questions is very important for credit reporting. Randomly throughout the program, you will see a box pop up. When it pops up, it is your responsibility to submit your answer. This is how we track your attendance throughout the program.
  • The chat function: At any time during the program, you may send us your questions. The chat box will appear when you click on the Chat icon located at the bottom portion of your screen. The presenters and webcast moderators will be monitoring the chat section. The speakers or the moderator will communicate questions to the presenter either during the presentation or during the Q&A session at the end, whichever presenter prefers.

Again, if you need assistance at any point in the process, please contact our office at 816.235.1648 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
